"The harmonica as a path to well-being"

Quim Roca is a harmonica player, overtone singing expert, and breathing therapist. His journey has led him to explore the relationship between music and well-being, integrating instruments such as the harmonica, didgeridoo, overtone singing, and jaw harp into his sessions and workshops.

Through his project BeHarpy, Quim promotes the harmonica as a tool to enhance breathing capacity, diaphragm control, and body awareness. He has led workshops at international festivals and events such as Harmonica Masters (Trossingen), Harpin’ by the Sea (Brighton), Eurofolk Festival (Ingelheim), and the Calella Harmonica Festival.
Since 2013, he has been teaching Conscious Breathing and Harmonica Initiation workshops at specialized gatherings and has collaborated on social projects as a music therapist.
He is the organizer of the Gironella Harmonica Camp, where he shares experiences with renowned harmonica masters like Joan Pau Cumellas.
As a musician, he has been part of several bands and has collaborated with artists across a range of styles, blending his knowledge of breathing with musical expression.
